Private John Rogers was an alias used by Private John McGarry, Canadian Army Medical Corps, service #525169, he was lost at sea on the hospital ship Llandovery Castle. This name and his real name both appear on the Halifax Memorial. Private McGarry's name is inscribed on Panel #2.
