Son of Richard Clarke, of Alexander St., St. John's, and of Mary Teresa Clark (now Mrs. Hawco), of Roaches Line, Brigus, Newfoundland. Served as William Fowlow (Fowler) and he is also commemorated under that name on page 43.

Forget-Me-Not flowers are the symbol of remembrance for the Royal Newfoundland Regiment. These were handmade by Janice Williams Frampton of Bay Bulls, NL. Janice is the 2x great niece of William Henry Clarke. His great nieces & sisters Debbie Clarke Belanger & Tracey Clarke placed them on his grave marker July 5, 2023.
