Son of Duncan Campbell and Sarah Foxcroft, of Vancouver, British Columbia. Husband of Janet McConnachie Brown Duncan Kerr, of Vancouver, British Columbia.
His father served in the First World War with the Royal Canadian Engineers, service number 505151; enrolled on 29 February 1916, he arrived in England on 31 July and in France on 2 May 1917, he was repatriated on 9 May 1919 to be demobilized.

WISCH (VARSSEVELD) GENERAL CEMETERY Netherlands
Varsseveld is a village approximately 45 kilometres east of Arnhem and 12 kilometres east of Doetinchem. The WISCH (VARSSEVELD) GENERAL CEMETERY is about 360 metres south of the town on the western side of the road in Sinderen. The British plot is in the north-western part.
