Photo of Walter Ottewell
Walter Ottewell was the adopted son of David and Ann Ottewell of Wiarton, Ontario. He was the natural son of Matilda (Tillie) Elliott.<P> He came to England to help with the war effort, met and married my mother Annie Fisher and then was killed before I was born. I have visited his grave in Brookwood and have traced his family tree in Ontario and the US. I wish I wish i had known him - my Canadian father.
