Son of William Francis Young Kinnear and Jessie Maud Publow of Kingston, Ontario. Wife’s name unknown.

Brother of Flight Lieutenant George Publow Kinnear, regimental number J-27395, 51st Squadron RAF, killed in action over Düsseldorf, Germany, on 23 April 1944, Lance Corporal Arthur J. Kinnear, regimental number C-28702, who served overseas in the Second World War and survived, and nephew of Private Arthur Jolly Kinnear, regimental number 2021691, 46th Battalion (Saskatchewan Regiment) Canadian Expeditionary Force, killed in action in France on 27 September 1918.


The cause of his death is unspecified, but occurred in Portland, Maine.
