His full name is Kenneth Horatio Guy.


Son of John Nathaniel Whiteway Guy and Catherine Kathleen Pynn of Quirpon, Newfoundland.


During the First World War, he was conscripted into the Canadian Army with the Canadian Expeditionary Force. He was enrolled on 10 April 1918 with the 1st Battalion, Military Depot, Halifax, Nova Scotia, regimental number 3181474. He was demobilized on 20 August 1919 without ever having left Canada.


He died by drowning on 2 October 1940 in Liverpool, England.
