Bronze plaque that is mounted at the lake named after him in Northern Saskatchewan (Carswell Lake). Plaque was mounted by his sisters (Audrey Armstrong, Lillian Parks and Mildred Mills). <P> James is mentioned in the book "Hurricanes Over The Sand" by Michel Lavigne and W/C James F.Edwards which contains photos of Jim and his plane "Turtleford" and several facts regarding this fighter pilot during the North African battle. -
