John Dennis in uniform - marked on the reverse in the handwriting of Hilda Doreen Keech (née Duff) "Grandma Keech's brother John (Jack) Dennis. Also in the hand of David John Keech, "Possibly in Woolwich Canadian army 44th Infantry. Died 3 June 1917 at Vimy Ridge France". He was probably in the Winnipeg regiment that was renamed the Brunswick Regiment in 1918. -
Memorial
His name as it is inscribed on the Vimy Memorial. Over 11,000 fallen Canadians having no known place of burial in France, are honoured on this Memorial. May they never be forgotten. (J. Stephens) -
