Brother of William Salter who was killed in action on March 25, 1918 while serving with the 2nd Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment and he is commemorated on Pozieres Memorial.

City Dairy Co. Ltd. War Memorial, Niagara Street, Toronto, Ontario. The first World War names listed were employed by the City Dairy Co. Ltd. This dairy was acquired by the Borden Company after the war. World War Two names for Borden Company employees were added at a later date. Donated by the Borden Company to the Canadian Corps Association and moved to 201 Niagara Street.

Sadly his elder brother Private William, 30962 serving with the 2nd Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment was killed in action on 25th March 1918 also in Flanders.

ADANAC MILITARY CEMETERY Somme, France
Miraumont is a village about 14.5 kilometres north-north-east of Albert and the Cemetery is some 3 kilometres south of the village on the east side of the road to Courcelette (D107). The ADANAC MILITARY CEMETERY is signposted in the centre of Miraumont.
