Anneux is a village in the Department of the Nord, a little to the south of the main road from Cambrai to Bapaume. The ANNEUX BRITISH CEMETERY stands in a broad valley running east and west between Bourton Wood and the village of Graincourt, 200 metres from the junction of the N30 and D15

He was originally buried in Delmadge British Cemetery, located 2 ¼ West of Cambrai. After the Armistice his body was exhumed and re-interred in ANNEUX BRITISH CEMETERY.
