Inscription
Incription inside Memorial Room, Soldiers' Tower, University of Toronto. The carillon was installed and dedicated in 1927. Originally there were 23 bells. Alumni and friends donated funds for carillon bells in memory of those who fell in the Great War. In the case of University College, two bells were donated - one by the alumni (male graduates), and one by the alumnae (female graduates). Dedications are carved high on the walls of the Memorial Room. Here we see the dedication for bell XI: "University College Alumnae Association". Also see separate photo for the other dedication.
