The Soldiers' Tower was built at University of Toronto between 1919-1924 in memory of those lost to the University in the Great War. The names of the fallen are carved on the Memorial Screen, which can be seen at photo left.

Inscription in Memorial Room, Soldiers' Tower. The carillon was installed in 1927. Originally there were 23 bells. Alumni and friends donated funds for bells in memory of those who fell in the Great War. Dedications are carved high on the walls of the Memorial Room. Bell XXI is dedicated: " 'Extol, ye bell, the virtue of our valorous men.' Alumni Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering". Photo courtesy of Alumni Relations.

TROIS ARBRES CEMETERY, STEENWERCK Nord, France
Steenwerck is a village about 6 kilometres south-east of Bailleul, and to the east of the road from Bailleul to Estaires. The TROIS ARBRES CEMETERY is situated to the north-east midway between the village and the main road from Bailleul to Armentieres and north of the recently built motorway.
