Son of Clarence Leslie and Margaret A. Watt, of Merrickville, Ontario. Brother of Flying Officer Norman Watt, who served with the Royal Canadian Air Force, died on July 1, 1943.
He lost two uncles, Private William Lloyd Watt and Private Richard Norman Watt in the First World War.
