F/O Brian, age 27, was navigator on Lancaster LM261 Mk.1 which was delivered to 207 (RAF) Sqdn Jul44. The aircraft had taken part in the Key Raid against Deelen 15Aug44. No other operational history traced. When lost this aircraft had a total of 143 hours. LM261 was airborne 2104 11Sep44 from Spilsby on a night raid against Darmstadt, Germany.
Three members of the crew were members of the RAF. They were F/O (P) David Cooke, age 31; Sgt. (FE) A. H. Davies, age 21 and WO (WAG) J. M. Bingham, age 23. The other Canadian crew members were:
F/O (AG) John J. Milne, age 30, from Toronto, Ont.
F/O (BA) Ronald B. Gowan, age 21, from St. Andrews, N. B.
P/O (AG) Wilbur L.Moxley, age 19, from Moose Heights, B. C.

LEOPOLDSBURG WAR CEMETERY Belgium
LEOPOLDSBURG WAR CEMETERY is located 58 Km north east of Leuven. From Leopoldsburg railway station turn right along the Nicolaylaan to the 'T' junction and turn left onto the Koninklijkstraat. Continue 300 M and turn right at the Koning Albert I Plein. 100 M after this turn left at the 'T' Junction and right at the next 'T' junction. Go a further 300 M to the end of the road and turn left into the Militair Domein. The cemetery is sited 200 M along on the right.
