Cemetery – Photo War Cemetery, Leopoldsburg, Belgium (CWGC) F/O Milne was air gunner on Lancaster LM261 Mk.1 which was delivered to 207 (RAF) Sqdn Jul44. The aircraft had taken part in the Key Raid against Deelen 15Aug44. No other operational history traced. When lost this aircraft had a total of 143 hours. LM261 was airborne 2104 11Sep44 from Spilsby on a night raid against Darmstadt, Germany. Three members of the crew were members of the RAF. They were F/O (P) David Cooke, age 31; Sgt. (FE) A. H. Davies, age 21 and WO (WAG) J. M. Bingham, age 23. The other Canadian crew members were: F/O (N) Edward J. Brian, age 27, from Windsor, Ont. F/O (BA) Ronald B. Gowan, age 21, from St. Andrews, N. B.
