Inscription
Private HUBERT JAMES BOULTINGHOUSE is one of twenty members of the Essex Scottish Regiment, Royal Canadian Infantry Corps, who are commemorated on this Panel at the Brookwood Memorial, Surrey, United Kingdom. Most of these soldiers went missing at Dieppe on August 19, 1942 and were subsequently presumed dead. Private Boultinghouse, however, is reported to have died on January 24, 1944 while a prisoner of war.
