Location:

The Dely Ibrahim War Cemetery lies on the slope of a hill about 500 metres before of the village of Dely Ibrahim. The village is located in hilly country about 10 kilometres south-west of Algiers on the road to Blida. Please note: It is regretted that it is not possible to keep a copy of the register in this cemetery. Assistance may be obtained from staff when they are present.

  • Dely Ibrahim War Cemetery
  • Canadian Embassy delegation– On November 11th, 2002 a Canadian Embassy delegation attended the Remembrance Day ceremony at the Dely Ibrahim Cemetery in Algiers, Algeria.  Officials of Commonwealth country embassies with representation in Algiers, as well as the American Embassy, laid wreaths at the cenotaph at the cemetery.  The ceremony was 
organised by the British Embassy.  At the end of the ceremony, the German Ambassador invited all participants to join him in a short solemn ceremony and wreath laying at the German cenotaph, adjacent to the Commonwealth cemetery.
