Son of Captain Richard Wilson Langford and Olive Mary (nee Stevens) Langford, of Victoria, British Columbia. Brother of Richard Dennis and Diana Mary. He was one of six Canadian airmen shot after being recaptured during an escape from Stalag Luft 3.
