  • Document– LAC Burke's high school registration card that he filled out on entering Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute when it opened in Sept 1936.  He left the school in 1942.
Notes on the bottom are those of the office staff on hearing of his death in training.

  • Family's Gravemarker– The Burke family marker in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto.  Gordon was one of three young men from the same high school to die in RCAF training and be buried in this cemetery.  The graves are within sight of each other in sections 31, 32 & 33.
