Sgt. John Mulligan (AG) from Ottawa killed in action Apr 19/44 age 20 #75 New Zealand Squadron, Stirling aircraft #EH955 was shot down eleven south east of Ribe, at Gram, Denmark while on a mine laying operation F/O H.J. Murray RNZAF, Sgt H.C.M. Kahler (RAF) and P Woollam (RAF) were also killed. These four airmen are all buried in a common grave in the Gram churchyard Jutland, Denmark. -

He was reported 'Missing After Air Operations' in Casualty List 890 of the Department of National Defense for Air, published in the Globe and Mail on May 24, 1944. He was reported 'Previously Missing , Now Presumed Dead' in Casualty List 1052 of the Royal Canadian Air Force, published in the Globe and Mail on November 29, 1944. -
