Son of Daniel and Caroline (nee Gabrielson) Danielson, of Strasbourg, Saskatchewan. Brother of Harold. The Province of Saskatchewan honoured Flying Officer Danielson by naming Danielson Lake, located west of Porter Lake, Saskatchewan where a tribute plaque was erected by Doug Chisholm, bush pilot and ariel photographer, on behalf of the family in 2000.
