Cemetery – F/O Frederick Sinclair Buck,age 25, served on 101 (RAF) Squadron. He was pilot on Lancaster ED 377, which took part in the following key operations: Essen 11/12 Jan 43; Berlin 16/17Jan-aborted; Berlin 17/18 Jan43; Hamburg 30/31 Jan43; Lorient 13/14 Feb 43; Milan 14Feb 43, battle damaged and repaired on station returned to service; Berlin 27/28 Mar 43; Pilsen 16/17 Apr 43; Stettin 20/21Apr 43; Dortmund 23/24 May 43; Dusseldorf 25/26 May 43; Dusseldorf 11/12 Jun 43. Their last operation was 27/28 Jun 43 on a mining (¿gardening¿) OP to the Frisian Islands off La Pallice and in the Gironde estuary, France. Fifteen Lancasters and 15 Stirlings participated, and Lancaster ED 377 was lost. F/O Buck was the only Canadian on board.
