Halifax HR864 was airborne 2146 25 Jul 43 from Gransden Lodge. Outbound, the aircraft was shot down by a night-fighter crashing at Ten Boer (Groningen) 12 km NE of Groningen, Holland.
The crew are: F/O M. E. Tomczak; Sgt A. J. Wood RAF; F/O A. P. McCracken; Sgt C. J. V. Kettley; Sgt E. K. White; F/S M. S. Smyth; F/O A.J.Sochowski was interned in Camp L3, PoW No.1649.
