Biography – The letter my 23-year-old aunt wrote to my 21-year-old father, who was serving in the Royal Canadian Navy, to inform him of their brother Alex's death.

Inscription – Inscription to the memory of Alexander Angus Cameron on the family grave marker at Notre Dame Cemetery, Ottawa, Ontario.

Newspaper clipping – Royal Canadian Air Force Casualty List 1058, published in the Globe and Mail on December 6, 1944, reported that Alexander Angus Cameron was killed on active service overseas. Duncan McKenzie Roy, whose name also appears on this list, is buried in the adjacent plot at Stratford-on-Avon Cemetery, Warwickshire, United Kingdom, and presumably was killed in the same plane crash.
