Son of Nelson Burt Rogers and Lottie Hazel (nee Gaunce) Rogers, of Fielding, New Brunswick.
Brother of Frank, Earle and Ira, Gifford, Eddy, Rodney, Samuel, Eva, Edna and Pilot Officer Paul Amos Rogers, who died while serving with the Royal Canadian Air Force.
1939-45 Star, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, War Medal. Posthumously awarded RCAF Operational Wings in recognition of gallant service in action against the enemy, the 27 March 1946.
