  • Grave marker– Marker in the ground a few feet in front of Private Leonard Kirk's headstone in the Harriston Cemetery, Harriston, Ontario.  It reads [with slash marks added to separate lines]:  "PTE. LEONARD KIRK / NO. 928447 / BORN 1899 - DIED 1917 / ENLISTED AT HARRISTON / WITH 153 BATTALION C.E.F. / JAN. 1. 1916".  Pte.
