  • Military Medal– Great Uncle Stanley's Military Medal, awarded to him for his bravery in August, 1918 whilst serving with The Royal Canadian Regiment
  • Medals– These are the mounted medals of Private Stanley Wood, MM.  He was awarded the Military Medal for his actions as a company runner at the second battle of Arras in August, 1918.  He was subsequently wounded in a German gas attack, and died of his wounds in 1920 at Kingston, Ontario.  He is interred in his family plot in Flinton, ON.
