Born in Czechoslovakia. Sergeant Dreveny came to Canada with his parents, his father being named Josef, in 1926 and settled outside of Margo, Saskatchewan at NW3-34-10-W2. He was the brother of Vladimir, Joe, Frank, John and Beatrice. He is commemorated on the Margo Honour Roll.
