Baptized Narcisse-Zéphirin-Donat Bousquet. Son of Narcisse Bousquet and Philomène Balthazar (deceased in 1899). His father remarried to Eugénie Bédard in 1902 and they lived in Iberville, Québec. While his battalion was in a rest area in Scherpenberg, in the Ypres sector, he was accidentally killed by another soldier who was cleaning his weapon.
