Brother of Lance Corporal Oswald Raymond Goodyear, Royal Newfoundland Regiment, killed in action 12 October 1916 and Lieutenant Stanley Charles Goodyear, Royal Newfoundland Regiment, killed in action 10 October 1917, Roland, Harold Kenneth and Daisy (also known as Kate).
