Bouchoir is a village in the Department of the Somme on the straight main road from Amiens to Roye. The BOUCHOIR NEW BRITISH CEMETERY is on the north-east side of the road nearly 2 kilometres south-east of the village.

  • Photo of ANDREW MAIR– Private Andrew Mair was born at Banff, Scotland on 3 SEP 1892. He enlisted in the Army at Brandon, Manitoba on 5 OCT 1915. Andrew sailed for France on 24 APR 1916 aboard the RMS Lapland. Originally assigned to the 79th Battalion, he was hospitalized due to injury and reassigned to the 1st Bn Canadian Mounted Rifles. Andrew was Killed in Action at Amiens on 11 AUG 1918.
