  • Grave Marker– Grave marker for Major General L. J. Lipsett. Lipsett commanded the 8th Battalion Canadian Infantry; the 2nd Canadian Brigade; and then the 3rd Canadian Division. He was killed shortly after moving from command of the 3rd Canadian Division to take command of the 4th (British) Division. His funeral in Queant was attended by Lieut. Gen. Currie and various commanders, and the Prince of Wales; the burial party were from the 8th Battalion. Photo courtesy of Wilf Schofield, England.
