War Memorial, Fernie and District, British Columbia. Dedicated by Lord Byng on May 24th, 1922. Inscribed: ERECTED TO PERPETUATE OUR HONOURED DEAD AND THOSE WHO CARRIED ON IN THE GREAT WAR FROM FERNIE B.C. AND DISTRICT. -

Creston War Memorial
War Memorial, Creston & District, British Columbia. Also included are names from men from nearby Erickson and Wynndel. The Cenotaph was unveiled on November 11th, 1922. There are 26 names inscribed on the granite memorial representing those local men who died during World War One. A stone panel was added at a later date to include 29 names of those who died during World War Two. Located at 137 11th Avenue North, in front of the local Royal Canadian Legion (Branch 29). In honoured memory. -
