Son of Henry and Sarah Jane Allen, of Stayner; husband of Hanna (née Freeman) Allen, of Aurora, Ontario. He stated he was a Presbyterian Minister. He served in Canada and Britain. He held a Master of Arts Degree and Bachelor of Divinity.
Not eligible for the 1914-1915 Star, nor the Victory Medal, British War Medal
