  • Grave Marker– Grave of 760015 Pvt. Abraham Chipman who served with the 121st Battn. C.E.F. (Irish Fusilers of Canada) Born at Spaniard Bay Newfoundland on Sept 13th 1881. Husband of Margaret J. Chipman, Abraham enlisted into the C.E.F. at Vancouver BC on Nov. 29th 1915 He listed his occupation as "Labourer" he also listed prior military service of 1 year with the 63rd Vol. Reg. Royal Artillery at Halifax NS.  Abraham died at Vancouver BC on April 1st 1918 at the age of 36.
He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
