Husband of Florence A. Eglinton of San Francisco CA U.S.A. Walter enlisted into the C.E.F. at Vancouver BC on Sept. 25th 1918. He listed prior military service of 3 years (1902-05)with the Queens Own 1st West Kent Regt. (British Army) He listed his occupation as "Auto Mechanic & Driver" Walter died during the Spanish Flu panademic of 1918-19 on Oct. 21st 1918 at the age of 38 with less than a months service in the military. He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
