  • Grave Marker– Grave of 2024337 Pvt. Murray McDonald who served with the 11th Garrison Regt. C.E.F. He was born in the town of Nyanza in Victoria County Nova Scotia on Oct. 28th 1889. Murray was drafted into the C.E.F. at Vancouver BC on June 27th 1918 he listed his occupation as "Carpenter" He died during the Spanish flu panademic of 1918-19 on Jan. 12th 1919 at the age of 28. (The age of "19" on his marker in incorrect) He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
