Charles enlisted into the C.E.F. at Vancouver BC on Oct. 1st 1915, he listed his occupation as "Clerk" Charles died at Vancouver BC of the Spanish Flu on Jan. 27th 1919 at the age of 21. He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
