He was born in Vancouver BC on June 21st 1899. John enlisted into the R.A.F. on June 30th 1917 listing his occupation as "Student" He was killed in a training accident on April 24th 1918 at the age of 18. He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
