He enlisted into the C.E.F. at Valcartier Quebec on Sept. 23rd 1914, he listed prior military service with the 15th Light Horse of Calgary Alberta. He listed his occupation as "Teamster" Charles died at Vancouver BC on Nov. 4th 1918 at the age 34.
