Marker at the grave of Cadet Hamar in the Mount Osborne Cemetery, William Street, Beamsville, Ontario. The inscription reads: "CADET CLARENCE RICHARD HAMAR HILLCREST, KNIGHTON, RADNORSHIRE, WALES. KILLED JUNE 4, 1918 ON ACTIVE SERVICE ROYAL AIR FORCE." Cadet Hamar was killed in a flying accident. (Image taken by Gregory J. Barker of Barrie, Ontario, in 2012.)
