Cap Badge 15th Bn (48th Highlanders of Canada). Pte McRae originally enlisted with the 15th Bn but was discharged and sent back to Canada. He enlisted with the 84th Bn on 9th Aug 1915 but was once again discharged. He enlisted for a third time with the 123rd Bn on 6 Dec 1915 but was once again discharged. He enlisted with the Cdn Railway Troops on 6 Jun 1916 and at some point after that was sent to the Forestry Corps. Submitted by 15th Bn Memorial Project Team. DILEAS GU BRATH
