  • Cottage– Edinboro, Ambleside,Cumberland (Now Cumbria) Edinboro was a block of mill workers cottages where James's wife Violet (nee Tyson) was born, and they both lived after their marriage in 1908, until James left for Canada. After James's death in 1916 Violet and son Robert William returned to this address, where she lived until the mid 1950's.
