Burial/memorial information
A conscript, he was enrolled in the 2nd Battalion Depot of the 2nd Quebec Regiment. In England on 28 March 1918, he was posted to the 10th Reserve Battalion of the Canadian Expeditionary Force. On 26 June 1918, he was transferred to the 22nd Battalion. On 6 August, he went to the front line, where he was killed on 28 August 1918, during the Battle of Chérisy, France.
