Matthew Halliday's grave marker. He was born in Lockerbie in 1884 and was a labourer by occupation. He enlisted 22/9/1914 at Valcartier and stated that he had previously served 7 years with the 2nd Bn. Scottish Rifles. His next-of-kin Janet Wilson lived at Holm Street Winnipeg.
