Husband of Mrs. William O'Neill, of St. John's, Newfoundland.

 

Some websites claim that the schooner W.C. McKay was sunk by a German submarine off the Azores. However, no German commander claimed in his logbook to have sent her to the bottom. Her fate is unknown.
