Son of Major-General and Mrs. R. O. Alexander. Husband of Barbara I. Alexander, of Victoria, British Columbia. Awarded a medal of the Royal Humane Society for saving life at sea. Flight Lieutenant Alexander had pre-war R.C.A.F. service under service number C989.
