Son of Jacques and Laurence Gevaudan of Boulogne-Billancourt, France. Cst. Gevaudan originally from Boulogne-Billancourt, France immigrated to Canada in 1991.

Prior to joining the Force, Cst. Gevaudan worked as a motorcycle mechanic, waiter and security guard. Cst. Gevaudan was posted to Codiac Detachment where he worked in General Duty Policing.

He enjoyed scuba diving and was part of the RCMP’s underwater recovery unit. He was athletic and was described as always having a smile on his face. Cst. Gevaudan was married to Angela and had a stepdaughter, Emma.

Commemorated on Page 232 of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Honour Roll Book.
