Cst. Cameron grew up on the Beardy’s Reserve. Her father and uncle were both members of the RCMP. She served at Beauval and Spiritwood detachments in Saskatchewan. Cst. Cameron had a positive influence and served as a role model in her community. The Willow Cree Educational Complex was renamed as the Cst. Robin Cameron Memorial Educational Centre in her honour. Cst. Cameron is the first female member on duty that was murdered. She had an 11 year old daughter named Shayne. Cst. Cameron is buried at the Beardy’s & Okemasis First Nations Cemetery.

Commemorated on Page 212 of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Honour Roll Book.
