3/Cst. Tomfohr was born in Lethbridge, Alberta. He responded to a complaint of a group of young boys throwing rocks at a woman’s house. 3/Cst. Tomfohr fell 50 feet off a cliff, landing among trees and rocks. 3/Cst. Thomfohr had just completed three weeks at his first posting. He is buried in Milk River, Alberta.

Commemorated on Page 134 of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Honour Roll Book.
